About Bluebird Builders

1990-2007

Prescott began his home building career in 1990 in Telluride, Colorado. Over the course of 17 years in Colorado he worked with some of the finest craftsman in Colorado, developing skills in Concrete/Steel/Roofing/Framing/Siding/ and interior and exterior Trim work.

In 2001 he founded bluebird builders focusing on custom homes in the Telluride area with the goal of providing efficient, quality, and sustainable homes.

After spending over 17 years in the high Mountains of Colorado. It was time for the next adventure on Orcas Island.

2007-present

Orcas has been a wonderful place to build, its natural settings and exceptional light complement the structures being built.

At Bluebird Builders we strive to be the best steward of the land possible. Our philosophy includes treading lightly on the land and having respect for our natural ecosystems. Our quest is to Build houses that seemed to have grown from the land not forced there. We take great pride in our craftsmanship always ensuring a quality, efficient, and sustainable build. Striving for long lasting relationships and trust with Owners and Architects. Our specialties include Architectural Concrete, Steelwork, and all aspects of wood construction.
